Global warming, NOT. It has always been this hot in August. That is one of the reasons why early morning practices have been at the crack of dawn
till about 8:30 or 9:00 am. The only difference now is the boys get more water breaks than we did. Too many kids sitting in the Air Con playing
video games in the summer instead of working or playing outside.

Be lots of coaches keeping a careful eye out for signs of heat stress. Lots of breaks and water on demand. Keep em safe boys.

I remember 2 a day's being miserable but fun. Two hour practices twice a day with 1 water break at each practice. I also remember eating salt
tablets out of a dispenser like they were candy. My how times have changed. I also remember hauling hay during the summer back then to stay in
shape. It would kill kids today to do what we did twenty years ago.

Quick, Somebody call the UIL!!!!
....The Rains Wildcats will be the first team in the area to hit the practice field on Monday. They’ll take to the field at 12:01 a.m. with what is
being called a “Midnight Madness” session.
The Wildcats’ second practice of the two-a-day session is set for 6 p.m. on Monday.
University Interscholastic League teams are restricted to working in T-shirts, shorts and helmets until Friday, when they can don the pads for full
contact drills....

Uh oh, thats all Rains team needs is one more advantage. With suiting up @ 25 kids, that extra early head start on two a days makes them a likely qtr
finals candidate hahaha
