No bainer for LFD's. The annual slug-fest with Idalou. Have to go to their house again this year. I don't mind but you gatta get there like 2 hours before game time just to get a seat in their small stadium.

Who is yours?

Most likely for Cameron either La Vega, or Navasota both good 3A teams...

There is no question in my mind that it will be the Battle of the River. Last year's game should have been a lot different, at the very least it should have been closer. Fans on both sides of the stadium later commented there were clear momentum shifts at key points.

San Saba-Goldthwaite has always been a "throw out the records" kind of game. With an Armadillo team bringing many of its starters back and showing speed and depth that haven't been apparent for quite a few years, this could very well be a watershed game for either or both teams.

Awww MagicCat you know Littlefield's toughest pre-district game is our own J.V. That team is going to be spectacular and I don't know if our Varsity will be up to the challenge. I am going to say J.V. Cats 35 Vastiry Wildcats 28... going to be a slobber knocker!!!! LOL.....

Im hearing the big guy. Freshman who was on the varsity bball team will be moving to left Tackle and should start. Also the Dlineman who played some in the plafyoffs last year as a frehsman and even got a couple of sacks will be moving up. Maybe even a LB will move up. I would say about 3 or 4 sophmores on the Varisty this year.

Aubrey and the 10-1 fo sho!!

is the Aubrey 10-1 better than the one that De Leon used last year cause San Saba destroyed it. We had 3 long touchdown runs. If you any speed and get past the line. BYE-BYE. Won the game 36-0.

You got to be kidding.
I don't think the game was close at all last year. In fact, SS really didn't score on the last play of the game. The ball was clearly trapped by the receiver in the endzone. I talked to the ref last year a couple of months later and he even admitted he couldn't see the play clearly. "he thought it was a catch".....his words not mine.
Besides the film don't lie.
I agree though, when these two teams play, throw out the records.

We normally start out the year with a very physical scrimmage with Glen Rose, we couldn't get that one scheduled this year........We got some new blood though, I don't know much about San Saba, Hillsboro and Maypearl but expect DeLeon to be physical. We haven't played them in a couple of years, but they always get up for us.

Jim Neds toughest pre district games are against Breckenridge week #1 because they dropped down and know one really knows what they got and Albany week #2 because they are Albany and its at there place and they will bloody your nose on every play.
